Midas Moving provides a wide range of moving services for both residential and commercial customers. We handle local and long-distance moves, including homes, apartments, condos, offices, and businesses. We also provide loading and unloading, moving to and from storage, home staging, and vacant-home moves. Need help getting everything packed? Yes! Midas Moving is a fully licensed and insured moving company. We take the safety of your belongings seriously and use professional equipment and moving practices to help protect your items throughout the moving process.
While we take every precaution to protect your belongings, accidents can happen. Midas Moving is fully licensed and insured, and basic liability coverage is included with every move. If damage does occur, we’ll work with you to address your claim promptly and professionally in accordance with our coverage and claims process. Additional full-value protection options are also available for customers who want greater peace of mind. We’ll explain your coverage options during your consultation.
Yes. We require a $100 fully refundable deposit to reserve your moving date. Your deposit is applied toward the total cost of your move.
Our moving services are billed hourly, based on the number of movers and trucks needed for your move. A trip charge also applies, and our standard minimum is two hours. We’ll provide you with an estimate based on the details of your move so you have a good idea of what to expect. We also offer packing and unpacking services, which can be added to your moving services. Local moves start at $165 an hour for two movers and a truck. Tipping is completely optional, but it’s always appreciated when our movers provide excellent service. There’s no required amount. Many customers choose to tip based on the quality of service, the size and difficulty of the move, and their overall experience with the crew.
Absolutely! We understand that you may not always be able to be present for your entire move. In many situations, we can coordinate with a realtor, property manager, family member, or another authorized representative. Just let us know ahead of time who will be our point of contact and provide any special instructions needed to complete the move.
For the safety of our customers, movers, and equipment, we cannot transport hazardous materials, including flammable liquids, gases, explosives, chemicals, paint, aerosols, or ammunition. If you’re unsure whether we can move a particular item, just ask! We’re happy to help you determine the best option. We understand that plans can change! If you need to reschedule your move, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your new date based on our availability. The more notice you can provide, the better chance we have of finding another date and time that works for you.

We make payment easy! We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and credit or debit cards. Please note that a 3% processing fee applies to all card payments.
Yes! Midas Moving offers both short-term and long-term storage in secure, climate-controlled facilities. Our storage options are perfect for storing your belongings between moves, during a home renovation, while waiting for your new home, or whenever you need a little extra space. We can also coordinate moving your belongings into and out of storage, making the entire process easier and more convenient for you.
Yes. Our piano moving and large item moving services cover uprights, grand pianos, gun safes, gym equipment, and oversized furniture, using the right equipment for each piece.
Yes. We carry boxes, tape, packing paper, mattress bags, and box kits sized by bedroom count, and we rent reusable green crates. See our moving supplies page for sizes and prices.
